Who are we?
We don't assign you a random DJ. We are not pushy sales people . We believe you should meet your DJ before you book.
aheProductions Entertainment is a full service & fully licensed and insured Event DJ Company specializing in weddings, corporate & other special events. We are based in Wesley Chapel FL (Tampa Bay Area) and serve the surrounding area, and even nationwide.
You might have heard of our sister company, aheProductions LLC. Founded in New York, aheProductions is a full service A/V rental production company, also based out of Tampa Fl. We regularly travel nationwide to offer production support of large scale meetings and events. With over 20+ years of production experience, we're the perfect fit for your wedding or event.
We are not your stereotypical cheesy DJ. We are hip. We are modern. We are posh and elegant. We are all about great music and a packed dance floor.
With thousands of weddings and events under our belt, we don't play games or rely on "line dances" to get the crowd moving. We are the complete opposite of that. We are performance based DJs and mix the music live.

aheProductions Entertainment is owned by Al Engels. Al is originally from New York, but he now calls Tampa, Florida his home.
With a massive television production background, Al has worked for every major television network. CBS, ABC, NBC, and FOX as director and editor. Years later in 1998, he worked for one of New York's largest touring production companies, and moved on to the technical production of corporate meetings & events. He was able to work on events for clients such as Starbucks, State Farm Insurance, Aspen Dental, Trans World Entertainment, political, state based agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Al is a 1997 graduate of the New School of Radio & TV in Albany NY, and is AVID Certified. With Al's knowledge and expertise in the media and entertainment field his entire career, Al decided to start another business venture many years ago, aheProductions Entertainment. He was regularly asked to DJ high profile client's afterparties, and that's when he learned his love for the Event DJ profession, thus aheProductions Entertainment was born. Since then, we've been rocking weddings, and have established ourselves as a preferred vendor at many of the local wedding venues.
Meet Mandy Engels. Mandy is our lead MC (Master of Ceremonies). Mandy is a born and raised Tampa native.
She is a NASM certified group fitness trainer, as well as a Zumba and Strong by Zumba fitness instructor with several years of dance/choreography training under her belt. As one of Tampa's ONLY female wedding MC's, Mandy brings an upbeat, high energy, yet professional approach to get your guests on the dance floor.
In addition to Mandy’s fitness and dance background, she is also a strategic marketing professional which includes extensive public speaking experience in a corporate presentation setting, as well as meticulous attention to detail. This experience ensures all aspects of your wedding or event will run according to your timeline without a hitch.
